Localization Technical Program Manager (i18n)

Location: Remote, United States only; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $115,000–$149,000 annually

hirify.global is recruiting for a client that operates in the transportation industry and supports products across global markets.

What you will do

• Design and implement internationalization solutions within the development lifecycle.
• Define and review product locale behaviors, including readiness for right-to-left languages.
• Partner with localization testing teams on validation and release readiness.
• Administer the translation management system, including workflows and quality settings.
• Troubleshoot TMS and API workflows and act as a technical escalation point.
• Lead localization technical programs from planning through release.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in internationalization or localization engineering.
• Deep knowledge of i18n principles and localization technology.
• Hands-on experience with Phrase or a comparable translation management system.
• Familiarity with localization APIs and JSON, XML, and REST.
• Strong problem-solving and program management skills.

Nice to have

• Fluency in a second language, such as German, Japanese, or French.
