TL;DR
SAP Solutions Architect (SAP S/4HANA/SAP BTP): Defining and governing enterprise SAP architecture across manufacturing businesses, with an accent on end-to-end process design, integration strategy, data and analytics, security, and total cost of ownership. Focus on designing S/4HANA transformations, API- and event-driven integrations, fit-to-standard delivery, and scalable architecture across global business units.
Location: Shannon, Clare, Ireland; willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% at peak times.

What you will do
- Own the SAP enterprise architecture, including target architectures, reference models, integration patterns, and standards across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Lead solution design for S/4HANA implementations and transformations, carve-outs, carve-ins, M&A integrations, and global template rollouts.
- Design end-to-end architectures for Order-to-Cash, Plan-to-Produce, Source-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, warehouse, transportation, and service processes.
- Architect integrations using SAP Integration Suite, SAP PO, APIs, events, and data services while ensuring master data harmonization.
- Govern data, analytics, security, compliance, testing, lifecycle management, operational readiness, and continuous improvement.
- Manage system integrators and vendors, create roadmaps and cost-benefit analyses, and present architectural options, risks, and business value to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience designing and delivering SAP solutions in complex, global manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on SAP S/4HANA architecture experience, including at least one end-to-end deployment or major transformation.
- Depth in at least two areas including MM/PP, SD, FI/CO, EWM/TM, Ariba, BW/4HANA and Analytics, MDG, or BTP/Integration Suite.
- Experience governing SAP and non-SAP integrations, API- and event-driven architectures, SAP Activate, fit-to-standard design, and mixed Agile/Waterfall delivery.
- Strong knowledge of security controls, segregation of duties, audit requirements, SOX, executive communication, and global vendor or team leadership.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree and relevant SAP certifications.
- Experience with M&A integrations, ERP migrations, and multi-region template rollouts.
- Knowledge of GDPR, ITAR, DFARS, CMMC, and UK MOD compliance.
- Familiarity with ITIL, Lean/continuous improvement, DevOps, Solution Manager, Focused Build, Jira, Azure DevOps, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, MS Project, and Visio.
