Director, Product Capabilities Technology

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work arrangement with in-person collaboration and 18 remote workdays per quarter subject to manager approval

What you will do

• Lead the technology and data strategy for Product Capabilities and serve as the data platform lead for third-party administrator information.
• Own the administrator technology and data roadmap, prioritizing demand, dependencies, capacity, sequencing, and vendor commitments.
• Translate business needs into requirements, source-to-target mappings, system configurations, data feeds, and technology plans.
• Coordinate data architects, modelers, data owners, operations teams, project managers, analysts, business leaders, and external partners.
• Create reconciliation and data quality controls, investigate root causes, and drive defects through resolution.
• Lead launch readiness through impact assessment, test strategy, parallel runs, cutover planning, and go/no-go recommendations.

Requirements

• More than eight years of experience in fund administration, fund operations technology, or wealth platform technology, including at least two years setting priorities.
• Strong understanding of fund administration data, including NAV reporting, holdings, positions, trade activity, security reference data, cash and capital activity, and investor or subscription records.
• Experience connecting at least one fund or vehicle with an administrator or transfer agent.
• Strong SQL skills for data profiling, identifying loss or duplication, and evaluating technical conclusions.
• Understanding of cloud data platforms, layered or medallion architecture, data lineage, and snapshot versus point-in-time data.
• Experience managing concurrent delivery workstreams, user acceptance testing, cutover, delivery partners, and at least one employee or analysts through matrix leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with private markets fund structures, evergreen or semi-liquid vehicles, subscriptions, redemptions, tenders, NAV cycles, and capital calls.
• Exposure to Luxembourg or Irish fund regimes, Azure DevOps, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse, or Python for data profiling.
