TL;DR

Lead Utilities Engineer (Railway Infrastructure): Managing stakeholder engagement and public utility interfaces for electrical railway and civil infrastructure projects in Cairo with an accent on utilities protection, relocation, consultations, and regulatory compliance. Focus on investigating utility conflicts, coordinating field activities, maintaining stakeholder registers, and managing community grievances.

Location: Cairo, Egypt; office and site-based

What you will do

Monitor stakeholder engagement plans against applicable standards and regulations.
Maintain stakeholder registers, identify breaches, and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct field visits, consultations, site investigations, meetings, workshops, and feedback reviews.
Coordinate with NAT and ESA on procedures, consultations, and early access activities.
Manage public utility protection, relocation, enhancement, tie-ins, and conflicts.
Manage the community grievance mechanism and support stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

8–10 years of professional experience.
Experience in electrical railway projects as a stakeholder and social lead engineer.
Experience in civil infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Google Earth.
