Cyber Security Governance Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Fully remote; applicants must be located in the continental United States. The posting lists Kansas City, Missouri.

Salary: $82,700–$110,200 annual, with potential eligibility for a variable incentive-based bonus plan.

What you will do

• Support AFC governance processes, standards, onboarding, service transitions, readiness initiatives, meetings, action tracking, and decision records.
• Gather business, technical, content, access, workflow, and operational requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into user stories, process maps, forms, workflows, templates, platform updates, and implementation notes.
• Administer and support SharePoint, Jira, Smartsheet, Forms, Teams, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365 resources.
• Create and maintain governance standards, procedures, playbooks, job aids, knowledge articles, presentations, and communications.
• Identify process gaps, duplication, standardization opportunities, and candidates for workflow automation while supporting testing and adoption.

Requirements

• Experience with governance operations, stakeholder coordination, organization, task management, problem solving, and collaboration.
• Cybersecurity terminology literacy and the ability to communicate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Advanced Microsoft 365 proficiency with strong technical writing, editing, formatting, and presentation-development skills.
• Experience supporting governance, cybersecurity, program management, knowledge management, or related business functions.
• Experience gathering stakeholder input and converting it into structured requirements, documentation, or platform updates.
• Experience supporting SharePoint, Jira, Smartsheet, Forms, or similar platforms while managing multiple assignments with limited supervision.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cybersecurity operations, managed security services, SOC terminology, service delivery models, threat monitoring, detection, and incident workflows.
• Knowledge of business requirements, technical documentation, knowledge management, and workflow design.
