Manager, Vulnerability Operations (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead and continuously improve the enterprise vulnerability management lifecycle, strategy, and operating procedures.
• Oversee routine and credentialed vulnerability scans across infrastructure, AWS and Azure cloud services, endpoints, applications, and product environments.
• Prioritize vulnerabilities using CVSS, EPSS, CISA KEV, threat intelligence, and asset business criticality.
• Partner with system, network, and application engineering teams to define SLAs, track remediation plans, and resolve POA&Ms.
• Manage vulnerability and exposure platforms such as Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, and Wiz, while driving API-based automation and scripting.
• Produce executive dashboards, KPIs, and exposure-reduction metrics, and provide vulnerability context during active cyber incident investigations.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT operations.
• 3+ years in a senior operational role focused on vulnerability or exposure management.
• Deep familiarity with vulnerability scanners and exposure management platforms, including Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or Wiz.
• Practical knowledge of Frontier AI models, networking protocols, Windows and Linux operating systems, and cloud architecture.
• Strong communication skills for translating complex technical risk data into executive-level insights.
• Ability to work remotely while based in the United States.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, GIAC GPEN or GEVA, or vendor-specific platform certifications.
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services or healthcare, or with Federal/NIST frameworks.
