Data Engineering Internship - Spring 2027 (Python/SQL)

Location: Onsite at the West Midtown Atlanta location; candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Salary: $35 per hour starting rate for engineering interns.

What you will do

• Learn data engineering approaches for scalability, performance, and analytics challenges.
• Assist with the architecture and maintenance of reliable sports data pipelines.
• Help improve the speed and quality of data processing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders on data ingestion, processing, and data product development.

Requirements

• Strong background in computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, informatics, information systems, or another quantitative field.
• Strong coding skills in Python and SQL.
• Demonstrable experience building robust data-intensive applications.
• Interest in sports and fantasy sports markets.
• Rising juniors, seniors, master's students, or recent graduates within one semester of graduation.
• U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Coursework or experience building data pipelines and data-focused applications from scratch.
• Open-source project experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
