Senior Engineering Manager (Identity Governance)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid work with 3 days per week in the Kraków office

What you will do

• Lead multiple enterprise engineering teams and develop leadership talent.
• Build a culture of ownership, remove blockers, and recruit, mentor, and retain engineering talent.
• Set technical direction and maintain architectural integrity for Directory Management and Identity Governance solutions.
• Oversee scalable .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, Elasticsearch, Azure, SaaS multi-tenant, and microservices-based systems.
• Translate business goals into engineering strategy, coordinate technical decisions, and manage technical debt.
• Lead product consolidation across identity platforms and collaborate with Product, Design, and Security teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise software development and 5+ years of management experience leading multiple teams and managers.
• Expertise in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Azure or AWS, SaaS multi-tenant solutions, CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure optimization.
• Knowledge of identity data structures, access control, IAM security practices, and endpoint operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in cross-functional leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, and SCIM identity standards.
• Azure Functions and serverless computing experience.
• Background in cybersecurity, IAM, IGA, or GRC.
• Experience with graph databases, agentic AI, Claude, or LLMs.
