Java Developer (Hybrid | Kraków)

Location: Hybrid in Kraków, Poland; work from the European Union region is required, with attendance at the client's Kraków office at least once a week.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable solutions using Java 25 and Spring Boot.
• Translate business problems into technical strategies, high-level designs, and production implementations.
• Develop and evolve microservices using domain-driven design, Event Sourcing, and event-driven architecture.
• Build solutions with Azure, AKS/Kubernetes, Terraform, and PostgreSQL.
• Own feature delivery from requirements clarification through implementation and collaborate with engineers across teams.
• Identify architectural gaps and improve engineering processes, code quality, and ways of working.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional Software Engineering experience within the JVM ecosystem.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices, Agile delivery, Azure, Kubernetes/AKS, Terraform, PostgreSQL, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk, and automated testing with Spock.
• Good command of English at minimum B2 level.
• EU work authorization and willingness to work from the client's Kraków office at least once a week are required.

Nice to have

• Experience applying GenAI in structured Software Development Life Cycle workflows.
• Familiarity with agent-based workflows, automation patterns, and AI-augmented development.
