What you will do
- Interpret functional specifications and design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, strategies, and scripts.
- Perform manual testing across the full software development lifecycle, including execution and defect analysis.
- Work within Agile development projects, participate in sprint reviews, and create targeted test cases.
- Collaborate with testers, developers, business users, and stakeholders to improve test coverage and delivery efficiency.
- Provide progress updates, status reports, and early warnings about risks or critical issues.
- Maintain manual testing quality standards while supporting improvements to automated tools and techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience with manual testing across the complete software development lifecycle.
- Practical knowledge of Azure DevOps/Azure ADO and automated testing tools and techniques.
- Understanding of project lifecycles, testing methodologies, and general technical architecture.
- Strong attention to detail, structured problem-solving, communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and meet tight deadlines.
Nice to have
- ISTQB or ISEB qualification.
- Experience with retail business processes and legacy systems such as Mainframe, TFS, or Leapwork.
