Senior Mobile Quality Engineer (React Native)

hirify.global is a fintech company building consumer finance products including loans, credit cards, and car finance for customers in the UK and US.

What you will do

• Define and evolve the mobile test strategy and pragmatic test pyramid for React Native.
• Build and maintain mobile E2E automation in Maestro, including test data, device configuration, helpers, reporting, and CI integration.
• Improve test reliability by reducing flakiness, accelerating failure diagnosis, and controlling runtime through parallelisation and artefact management.
• Use AI tools for test authoring, failure clustering, coverage analysis, and proposed fixes while maintaining trustworthy review controls.
• Partner with product and engineering on shift-left quality, acceptance criteria, exploratory testing, and risk identification.
• Connect test coverage with production issues using Datadog, Sentry, and Grafana.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in quality engineering or test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Maestro or Detox and mobile E2E automation.
• Experience introducing AI-assisted testing practices with appropriate review and trust controls.
• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills for building test helpers, tooling, and debugging application issues.
• Experience shaping reliable CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or a similar platform.
• Ability to work independently and drive improvements across frameworks, CI, test data, and reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience testing React Native applications.
• Mobile performance and reliability experience, including crash reporting, startup time, memory, and battery awareness.
• API and contract testing experience with a clear approach to test data and environment strategy.
