Transport Officer (Retail Logistics)

Location: Av. Ernest Solvay 29, 1480 Tubize, Belgium; the role works in the office and in the field, with travel to stores, warehouses, and partner sites when needed.

What you will do

• Coordinate transport activities for store openings, closures, refits, and other projects.
• Work with warehouses, forwarders, 3PL partners, retail teams, construction, project management, and other departments.
• Support intercompany transport, store deliveries, spot transport, loading routes, delivery schedules, and transit-time updates.
• Track daily operational topics, issues, actions, costs, routes, deliveries, and project progress.
• Prepare reports, trackers, and follow-up files, including UK-BE customs reporting when required.
• Analyse transport data and help develop tools that improve cost, material-flow, and priority management.

Requirements

• Fluent English at minimum B2 level.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Strong organisation, follow-up, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple topics, work with reports and trackers, and perform basic data analysis.
• Ability to work both in the office and in the field.
• Practical, reliable approach with the ability to escalate issues clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience in transport, logistics, retail, warehouse operations, or project coordination.
• Experience working with carriers, forwarders, 3PL partners, or stores.
• Experience creating Excel trackers, dashboards, or simple operational tools.
