Business Analytics Senior Specialist (Messaging)

Location: Zagreb, Croatia; flexible hybrid work model with in-person collaboration, remote work, and flexible working hours.

What you will do

• Lead global messaging analytics and pricing initiatives and own high-impact business and operational projects.
• Analyze pricing, routing, margins, gross profit, and operational performance to support commercial decisions.
• Maintain and improve messaging connectivity terms, pricing, coverage data, and reporting across global and regional markets.
• Provide analytics, pricing recommendations, anomaly detection, and customer insights to Sales, Product Success, and go-to-market teams.
• Support new pricing models, billing logic, differentiated pricing, and commercial frameworks for messaging products and carrier partnerships.
• Coordinate projects with Billing, Product, Development, Connectivity, Legal, Data Intelligence, Operations, and revenue teams while identifying new business opportunities and improving data access.

Requirements

• Experience in business analytics, pricing, commercial operations, telecommunications, CPaaS, or a related field.
• Preferably 5+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with complex datasets, pricing models, margin analysis, and operational reporting.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization and reporting tools, plus AI tools for productivity, workflow automation, analytics, or business insights.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, cross-functional collaboration, and complex project coordination skills.
• Fluent English, spoken and written, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with messaging products, mobile operators, or carrier partnerships.
• Exposure to pricing strategy, billing systems, or commercial framework development.
• Understanding of routing, delivery rates, network identifiers, or capability checks.
