Head of Executive Search (Robotics/AI)

What you will do

• Own the full-cycle executive search and hiring process for C-level, C-1, and C-2 roles across Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Legal.
• Lead market mapping, direct sourcing, candidate assessment, offer negotiations, and onboarding.
• Hire, train, and manage an initial team of 2–3 recruiters.
• Establish executive search processes, tools, and performance metrics.
• Partner with founders and functional leaders to define role profiles and business context.
• Build talent maps across robotics, AI, and adjacent industries while representing the company to senior candidates.

Requirements

• 7+ years of recruiting experience, including significant executive search or headhunting experience for C-level and above roles.
• Proven success closing C-1 and C-2 roles in Operations, Engineering, Finance, or Legal.
• Required experience in robotics, hardware technology, or adjacent AI companies.
• Experience building and managing a small recruiting team.
• Strong direct sourcing, market mapping, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to operate in high ambiguity and fast growth without heavy corporate processes.
