Conflicts of Interest Senior Risk & Controls Analyst (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Lead a strategic review of the Conflicts of Interest policy, framework, and operating model across Life and PAC.
• Review policy management, conflict identification and assessment, register management, reporting, governance, training, and assurance processes.
• Identify duplication, inefficiencies, control gaps, and opportunities to simplify the framework.
• Engage stakeholders across Life, PAC, and PLC support functions through workshops and working groups.
• Prepare data and recommendations for governance forums and executive-level papers.
• Evaluate conflict registers, reporting outputs, assessment methodologies, review processes, and attestations.

Requirements

• Strong background in risk management, compliance, or conflicts of interest.
• Experience interpreting policies and translating requirements into practical business processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, report-writing, and presentation skills.
• Experience conducting policy reviews and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and influence varied audiences.
• Experience preparing data and recommendations for executive-level papers.

Nice to have

• Experience with regulatory compliance, conduct risk, or conflicts of interest frameworks.
• Knowledge of the FCA Handbook.
• Understanding of policy and risk management frameworks.
