What you will do
- Develop and maintain reliable, scalable backend services and APIs for high-throughput fulfilment systems.
- Write and optimize database queries using technologies such as MySQL and Presto.
- Profile systems, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and improve overall performance.
- Contribute to cloud-based projects on AWS, GCP, or Azure and support deployments through CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end automated testing.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams on technical solutions using Golang, Scala, and distributed computing technologies such as Apache Flink.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of backend development experience.
- Familiarity with large-scale distributed web or API services, system internals, and networking.
- Hands-on experience with databases and query languages such as MySQL or Presto.
- Understanding of system performance profiling and bottleneck resolution.
- Experience with a cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with any programming language and willingness to work with Golang and Scala for Flink-based systems.
