IT Audit, Cybersecurity & Risk Experienced Consultant

Location: Lehi, Utah, United States; hybrid and remote work arrangements are indicated.

Salary: $52,800–$95,700 annually nationwide; California range: $60,700–$110,100.

What you will do

• Work with client executives and management teams to identify and manage financial, operational, and technology risks.
• Assess and optimize IT risk across cybersecurity, IT strategy and governance, regulatory compliance, and business continuity.
• Develop audit programs and perform internal audits and IT control assessments covering SOC reporting, ITGC, application controls, third-party risk, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery.
• Review processes and controls against industry frameworks, identify design and execution gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Prepare executive summaries, final reports, and engagement workpapers, and present findings to internal and external audiences.
• Build client relationships while supporting team development and the growth of the risk consulting practice.

Requirements

• Four-year degree and at least one year of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, cybersecurity, computer science, accounting information systems, computer engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field preferred.
• At least one year of IT audit or cybersecurity experience preferred, including SOX or SOC audit experience.
• CISA, CISSP, CISM, or SSCP certification, or interest in pursuing one, preferred.
• Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
