IT Audit, Cybersecurity & Risk Senior Consultant (Cybersecurity)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; hybrid and remote work arrangements are indicated.

Salary: $89,800–$145,500 in California; national range is $78,100–$126,500.

What you will do

• Work with client executives and management teams to identify and manage financial, operational, and technology risks.
• Assess IT risk across cybersecurity, IT governance, compliance, business continuity, disaster recovery, third-party risk, ITGC, application controls, and SOC reporting.
• Review processes and controls against industry frameworks, identify design and execution gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Develop audit programs and execute internal audits and IT control assessments.
• Prepare executive summaries, final reports, and engagement work papers.
• Build client relationships, deliver presentations, and support the development of team members.

Requirements

• Four-year degree.
• At least three years of professional experience.
• Experience in IT audit or cybersecurity.
• Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work directly with clients and manage multiple aspects of consulting engagements.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, cybersecurity, computer science, accounting information systems, computer engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• CISA, CISSP, CISM, or SSCP certification.
• Experience as a client-serving professional in a consulting firm.
