Associate, Capital Advisory (Investment Banking)

Location: Frankfurt, Germany; this is an office-based role. Employment visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Conduct market research and financial analysis for client engagements.
• Support acquisition financing, refinancing, and recapitalisation transactions as part of the European Capital Advisory Group.
• Build financial analyses and models, including business forecasts, scenario analysis, and covenant sensitivities.
• Prepare marketing documents and pitches, identify finance providers, and participate in client meetings.
• Collaborate with European Capital Advisory and local M&A teams to execute projects.
• Contribute to initiatives that grow the firm's Capital Advisory franchise.

Requirements

• Ideally 3–4 years of experience in Capital Advisory, Leveraged Finance, Transaction Services, or Business Modelling, with relevant transaction experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting, corporate finance, and/or leveraged finance, supported by strong business acumen.
• Excellent academic background, ideally including a master's degree in a business-related subject.
• Strong analytical, communication, organisational, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English are required.
