TL;DR
Specialist Contract Planning (Oil and Gas): Directing logistics planning, operational readiness, risk management, and transportation strategies for a major EPC and PMC asset project with an accent on materials movement, budget control, business continuity, and service provider performance. Focus on developing logistics plans and interfaces, coordinating stakeholders, managing risks and change, and optimizing marine, air, and land transport operations.
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; onsite at the project site

What you will do
- Lead logistics planning and strategy for project, production, and drilling operations.
- Coordinate procurement, handling, storage, and transportation of people and materials using marine, air, and land resources.
- Create and maintain the Logistics Operational Readiness Plan, Logistics Risk Register, business continuity plans, and management-of-change submissions.
- Develop logistics processes, procedures, systems, service-level agreements, business cases, and optimization initiatives.
- Manage budgets, cost control, purchase requisitions, call-off orders, material requisitions, and invoice clearances.
- Represent logistics in stakeholder interfaces, task forces, audits, consultancy activities, and integrated operational projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Commercial, or Business Administration.
- At least 17 years of experience in logistics, budgeting, and planning.
- Working knowledge of logistics operational readiness planning, risk registers, and business continuity planning.
- Hands-on experience with budget control, cost-benefit analysis, and service-level agreement management.
- Proficient English required.
- Knowledge of the oil and gas industry is preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience with MEGA EPC projects.
- Knowledge of oil and gas operations and HSE risk management.
