Senior Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Permanent hybrid role based in Sydney, Australia

What you will do

• Lead product discovery, prioritisation and delivery across broker and client mortgage-lending experiences.
• Own experience layers for accurate information capture and application progression through submission.
• Align customer experiences, data contracts, downstream rules, submission flows and squad ownership.
• Partner with Engineering, BAs, QA, Design, Operations, Compliance and Risk to deliver quality releases and operational readiness.
• Measure and improve broker adoption, application quality, conversion, submission, fulfilment and settlement outcomes.
• Support launches through broker communications, training, help content and sustained adoption.

Requirements

• Significant product management experience leading discovery, prioritisation, delivery and measurable outcomes for complex products, platforms or transformation programs.
• Experience in mortgage lending, fintech, banking or broking is essential.
• Strong understanding of home-loan origination, broker and client journeys, application capture, data quality, evidence collection and submission.
• Experience leading work across customer-facing experiences, shared capabilities, data, APIs and third-party integrations.
• Strong commercial, analytical, stakeholder leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work across product squads and distributed teams in Australia and overseas.

Nice to have

• Experience with platform or transformation programs involving vendors, integrations, data migration, testing, cutover and operational readiness.
• Experience working with AI models and agent-based delivery.
• Practical familiarity with Confluence, Jira and Figma.
