What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable data pipelines and analytical datasets with PySpark and Databricks.
• Review, modify, and improve existing data models for changing business and reporting requirements.
• Design dimensional data models, including star schemas, and develop data products for BI and analytics.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly data solutions.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, engineers, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to the modernization of the wider BI and data landscape.

Requirements

• Substantial hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or Senior Data Engineer.
• Strong practical experience with PySpark and Databricks.
• Experience designing, changing, and maintaining analytical data models.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and star schemas.
• Experience creating datasets or data products for business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.
• Professional fluency in English and strong stakeholder communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or Databricks dashboards.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or large enterprise environments.
