Consultant Data Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and operate cloud architectures across GCP, AWS, and Azure, including storage, compute, cost optimization, role management, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker and Kubernetes, including clusters adapted to Data Science workloads.
• Develop Python server-side tools for bulk data processing, REST APIs, authentication, and related services.
• Manage CI/CD integration and continuous deployment for applications, internal platforms, and client Data Science projects.
• Build ETL scripts and data pipelines in Big Data environments.
• Implement infrastructure and services that support Machine Learning model development and deployment.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree with a strong quantitative component, such as Econometrics, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Quantitative Finance.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Data, DevOps, Cloud, or Software Engineering.
• Good Python skills, a solid foundation in other programming languages, and familiarity with at least one SQL DBMS, ideally PostgreSQL; MongoDB knowledge is beneficial.
• Experience or strong motivation to learn cloud platforms, Docker, CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and tools such as Terraform.
• Knowledge of application security, including certificate management, HTTPS, OAuth2 authentication, and credential management.
• Excellent English and Dutch verbal and written skills are required.
