Lead System Engineering (Node.js/Azure)

What you will do

• Translate business requirements and core architecture into platform, network, software, and cloud solutions.
• Define system designs, subsystem responsibilities, interfaces, deployment models, and solution-level non-functional requirements.
• Align development teams around a shared technical direction and support architecture decisions, solution analysis, and implementation alternatives.
• Create and enable continuous delivery pipelines, develop the architectural runway, and participate in planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js, Laravel, PostgreSQL, PowerShell, and Microsoft Azure services.
• Design automation, reliability, scalability, accessibility, and operational solutions while applying AI and machine learning techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Four years of experience in the offered role or a related occupation.
• Experience with SDLC, solution analysis, requirements gathering, architecture design, programming, implementation, and documenting non-functional requirements.
• Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, as well as scaled Agile development and stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience with Node.js, Laravel, PHP, PostgreSQL, PowerShell, Microsoft Azure, automation scripting, system reliability, and scalability.
• Experience applying WCAG and WAI-ARIA and using JAWS, NVDA, AMP, WAVE, and ZoomText for accessibility testing.
