Part-Time Physician (Bilingual Spanish) - Virtual Urgent Care

Location: Remote/work from home, but candidates must reside in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.

Salary: $109–$143 per hour

What you will do

• Provide high-quality, compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in a virtual setting.
• Use audio, video, written communication, remote monitoring equipment, remote physical exams, and point-of-care diagnostics.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice leads, nurses, medical assistants, primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, and supervisors.
• Follow up on labs and imaging and maintain closed-loop communication with patients and other providers.
• Participate in huddles, case conferences, service-line meetings, and operational workflow and product improvement initiatives.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Board certification in emergency medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine.
• At least 3 years of outpatient urgent care or emergency department experience.
• At least 2 years of virtual care or telemedicine experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak both Spanish and English.
• Active licenses in Tennessee and Florida through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact, or eligibility for a compact license, are required. Willingness to obtain additional state licenses with support from the licensing vendor is also required.

Nice to have

• Current Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification to accelerate credentialing.
• Ability and willingness to obtain additional licenses in Oscar Medical Group states.
