Senior Software Engineer (Senior ServiceNow Developer)

Location: Katowice, Poland. Candidates must be located in Poland and have EU citizenship. Occasional business trips abroad and visits to the Katowice office are required.

Salary: UoP: 12,000–16,000 PLN gross/month; B2B: 100–140 PLN/hour net + VAT.

What you will do

• Participate in ServiceNow implementation, enhancement, optimization, upgrade, and release projects.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow ITSM configurations and solutions.
• Develop workflows, catalog items, business rules, script includes, client scripts, Flow Designer components, and other custom platform functionality.
• Build and maintain REST integrations, APIs, IntegrationHub connections, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize custom code for performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, consultants, and Agile teams while documenting configurations, integrations, and developments.

Requirements

• Approximately 4–5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow and ITSM, including CMDB, CI classes, relationships, and data imports.
• Practical experience with REST integrations, IntegrationHub, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and ServiceNow scripting.
• Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, GlideRecord, Flow Designer, data modelling, upgrades, and ITSM process maintenance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and knowledge-sharing skills.
• Fluent English at B2/C1 level, location in Poland, and EU citizenship are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Discovery, Identification and Reconciliation Engine, CSDM, Service Graph Connectors, Security Operations, or ServiceNow instance consolidation.
