Autonomy System Integration Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Mossville, Illinois, United States; onsite five days a week. Up to 10% travel is required. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $112,710–$183,140 per year.

What you will do

• Own and lead system integration projects for autonomous mining trucks.
• Design system architectures across an ecosystem of truck models.
• Define electronic interfaces, electronic systems, and I/O requirements for machine-control hardware and autonomy devices.
• Collaborate with partner teams to develop hardware solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Coordinate hardware changes through validation environments, field trials, and production.
• Troubleshoot systems and resolve integration issues.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience with autonomous or robotics technologies and their applications.
• System engineering experience in autonomy, robotics, or a related industry.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in robotics, electrical or computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Strong mathematics and engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects, timelines, and deliverables.
• Strong collaboration, communication, organization, and strategic-thinking skills.
