Salary: $23.50–$52.50 per hour

What you will do

• Perform hands-on laboratory work in chemistry and engineering labs.
• Conduct studies and develop test methods and fixtures.
• Craft and evaluate topical skin adhesive prototypes for surgical applications.
• Prepare test protocols, final reports, and meeting documentation following good documentation practices.
• Participate in voice-of-customer labs and collaborate with engineers and external suppliers.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Completed at least the freshman year and remain actively enrolled throughout the internship.
• Proficient in laboratory-based chemistry activities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Highly organized, able to balance multiple tasks, work independently, and collaborate within a team.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship; CPT, OPT, and STEM OPT candidates generally do not qualify.

Nice to have

• Minimum GPA of 3.4.
• Knowledge of polymer chemistry and characterization.
