AI/ML Integration Technologist (Battery Mfg)

Location: Glendale Junction, Kentucky, United States. Hybrid schedule with a requirement to work onsite four or more days per week.

Salary: $132,800–$250,800 annually.

What you will do

• Identify scrap, downtime, quality escapes, and other production losses on the plant floor.
• Build and deploy models using plant data for coating and formation quality, defect detection, and yield root-cause analysis.
• Translate model outputs into process parameter changes, error-proofing, and standard work.
• Collaborate with process, controls, and quality teams, operators, technicians, vendors, and the central technologist.
• Develop reusable solutions and share findings across plants.
• Own local data connections across MES, historians, PLC and OT systems, and inline metrology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering.
• Coursework or hands-on experience in machine learning, data science, or analytics.
• Experience with Python and plant data, including MES, historians such as PI or Ignition, and PLC data.
• Process or manufacturing engineering experience and strong plant-floor judgment.
• Ability to work closely with operators, technicians, and process engineers.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience in battery manufacturing, semiconductors, coatings, or another high-volume process.
