Head of Third-Party Management

What you will do

• Design, own and drive adoption of the bank-wide third-party management operating model across sourcing, contracting, onboarding, assurance and exit.
• Set policies, standards, governance and materiality-based controls for supplier and intragroup arrangements.
• Oversee third-party risk, resilience, concentration, dependency, regulatory notifications and supervisory readiness.
• Lead or support significant technology and outsourced-service negotiations while protecting service quality, customer outcomes and control requirements.
• Maintain the third-party register, governed data, management information and reporting for executives, the Board and regulators.
• Own the third-party management platform and roadmap for workflow automation, evidence collection, reminders, reporting and register maintenance.

Requirements

• Senior third-party management, vendor management or procurement leadership experience within a UK-regulated financial services firm.
• Practical experience applying PRA SS2/21 and SYSC 8 Outsourcing.
• Experience negotiating and contracting significant technology and outsourced-service agreements.
• Experience designing or materially improving supplier segmentation and materiality assessments.
• Track record of driving process adoption across an organisation without direct authority, plus experience leading a small team.
• Technical fluency with data tooling and workflow automation, supported by a metric-driven approach.
