Capacity Planning & Efficiency

Location: On-site in San Francisco, CA; Bellevue, WA; or Sunnyvale, CA, United States

Compensation: $200,000–$240,000+ bonus, plus Restricted Stock Units

What you will do

• Own multi-year capacity planning across GPUs, accelerated AI fabrics, compute, storage, networks, power, and data center space.
• Run the integrated business planning and S&OP cycle, including demand review, supply review, reconciliation, and executive decision forums.
• Model constraints such as silicon allocation, supplier lead times, power energization, rack and network availability, and deployment labor.
• Define allocation and prioritization rules when capacity is limited and drive mitigation decisions.
• Coordinate the planning calendar and plan of record across Cloud Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Center Operations, Product, and Finance.
• Translate capacity plans into supplier commitments, capex and opex forecasts, unit economics, depreciation schedules, and utilization targets.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure capacity planning, IBP/S&OP, supply and demand planning, systems engineering, or technical program management.
• Technical fluency across compute, storage, networking, accelerated computing, power, space, and cooling constraints.
• Experience with supplier lead times, allocation, buffer strategy, purchase orders, and hardware delivery.
• Strong capex and opex planning, financial modeling, and variance analysis skills.
• Expert-level Excel or Google Sheets skills and the ability to build auditable, maintainable models.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical, operations, supply chain, mathematics, or data science field.

Nice to have

• Experience establishing an S&OP or integrated business planning function from scratch.
• Experience defining planning, provisioning, or capacity modeling software requirements.
• SQL, Python, optimization, or simulation experience for constrained allocation problems.
• Experience planning GPU clusters and accelerated AI computing fabrics at scale.
