Senior Technical Program Manager (Security Risk & Compliance)

Location: New York, San Francisco, or Seattle, United States

Base salary: $190,000–$230,000 USD per year, plus potential bonus, equity, and/or commission.

What you will do

• Build and drive integrated delivery plans for security, compliance, certification, control implementation, automation, evidence tracking, metrics, and remediation programs.
• Translate security requirements and customer commitments into workstreams with owners, milestones, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and evidence expectations.
• Coordinate execution across engineering, infrastructure, security, assurance, customer trust, Legal, suppliers, and colocation providers.
• Run planning, scheduling, delivery reviews, dependency tracking, decision follow-through, and leadership reporting using Linear and connected tools.
• Translate approved security policies and standards into practical guidance, adoption plans, enablement, and operational workflows.
• Use data, automation, and AI-assisted workflows to improve reporting and reduce manual coordination.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical program management, security, infrastructure, or related disciplines.
• Experience delivering complex security, compliance, or infrastructure programs across engineering and business teams.
• Technical fluency in cloud infrastructure, security controls, architecture, data flows, and verifiable delivery criteria.
• Experience translating security or compliance requirements into implementation plans with clear ownership and measurable outcomes.
• Strong judgment, risk management, executive communication, and ability to drive commitments through influence.
• Practical experience using data, automation, and AI-assisted workflows for program execution and reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience with ISO 27001 or SOC 2 readiness, audits, scope expansion, or remediation programs.
• Experience with cloud platforms, data centers, colocation providers, shared control responsibilities, or customer security commitments.
• Experience with Linear, GRC platforms such as Drata, SQL, scripting, APIs, CISSP, CISM, or PMP.
