Full-stack (Magento 2/AWS)

What you will do

• Own the technical strategy and customized Magento 2 e-commerce platform hosted on AWS.
• Design and operate AWS infrastructure covering compute, databases, caching, networking, CDN, security, observability, scalability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
• Drive infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation/CDK and establish cloud governance, release standards, and environment parity.
• Restructure and lead the web organization across platform engineering, product data, and growth functions; hire, mentor, and manage external agencies.
• Improve the configurable hardware buying experience, technical SEO, site performance, and integrations between Magento, GA4, NetSuite, inventory systems, and external sales channels.
• Support international storefronts and channels with multi-store, multi-currency, multilingual, tax, payment, shipping, and geo-routing capabilities.

Requirements

• Deep Magento 2, PHP 7/8, MySQL, Varnish, Redis, Elasticsearch, and caching architecture experience.
• At least 4 years designing, deploying, and operating production e-commerce workloads on AWS.
• At least 7 years in web development or e-commerce and at least 3 years in technical leadership or architecture.
• Experience with high-traffic, revenue-generating B2C or B2B storefronts, complex configurable products, rules engines, ERP integrations, or CPQ platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, server-side performance, Linux administration, REST APIs, and JavaScript frameworks or libraries including Knockout.js or React.
• Experience with international commerce, localized storefronts, currency and tax complexity, international SEO, cross-border shipping, and data residency considerations.

Nice to have

• Experience in IT hardware, server, or data center industries.
• Adobe Commerce or Magento and AWS certifications.
• NetSuite, PWA Studio, Vue Storefront, Docker, ECS, EKS, or managed Magento hosting experience.
• Experience migrating e-commerce platforms to AWS or launching storefronts in new countries or regions.
