Senior Manager, Competitive Insights (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Houston, New York, San Francisco, or Seattle

Base salary: $150,000–$260,000 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and/or commission eligibility.

Nscale operates in the AI infrastructure market, competing with legacy hyperscalers and emerging GPU cloud providers.

What you will do

• Monitor and reverse-engineer competitor product roadmaps, pricing changes, GPU allocations, and data center deployments.
• Create field-ready battlecards, technical objection-handling guides, and pricing analyses for Account Executives.
• Lead objective win/loss interviews and feed findings into go-to-market and product strategy.
• Deliver executive briefings on AI compute demand, market shifts, competitor supply constraints, and infrastructure trends.
• Partner with engineering to benchmark competitor clusters and compare latency, PUE, and total cost of ownership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, technical product marketing, or technical sales within cloud computing, AI infrastructure, or semiconductors.
• Deep understanding of GPU clusters, InfiniBand/Ethernet networking, and the AI hyperscaler landscape.
• Ability to analyze technical whitepapers and identify architectural weaknesses.
• Proactive, investigative approach to uncovering technical and pricing data in ambiguous markets.
• Strong storytelling skills for converting technical advantages into effective sales messaging.
• Ability to work credibly across sales, engineering, product, and executive stakeholders.
