What you will do

• Oversee laboratory operations supporting customer product deliveries.
• Test chemical solutions, reagents, bulk receipts, shipments, and repackaged material samples against specifications.
• Monitor laboratory equipment and maintain qualification and calibration records.
• Serve as branch quality coordinator and HACCP coordinator; lead quality and FDARP meetings.
• Resolve customer complaints, quality discrepancies, and related issues through the Univar Quality Improvement Process.
• Prepare samples and blended samples, develop analytical methods, review potential products, and maintain procedures and reports.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of chemical products, chemical repackaging, and state and federal labeling requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of cGMPs, FDA requirements, GDPs, and GLPs.
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment, prepare special chemical products, and work with hazardous substances using required safety precautions.
• One to three years of experience preparing chemical products; a four-year degree in Chemistry or equivalent laboratory experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong communication skills, initiative, independent judgment, and the ability to secure cooperation from others.
