Parts Project Manager (Supply Chain)

Location: Portland, Oregon, United States. Hybrid schedule: 4 days per week in the office and 1 day remote. Applicants may work in or relocate to Portland; relocation assistance is not available.

Salary: $104,000–$133,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Develop and implement the Direct Ship transportation strategy for aftermarket parts.
• Analyze freight rates, carriers, transportation modes, consolidation opportunities, supplier shipping practices, and network design.
• Build business cases covering total landed cost, service benefits, investments, and tradeoffs.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with Purchasing, Supply Chain, Transportation and Logistics, Marketing, Sales, Finance, suppliers, and dealers.
• Establish KPIs for transportation cost, delivery reliability, transit performance, and Direct Ship performance.
• Lead future fulfillment and continuous improvement projects from concept through implementation, communicating recommendations and progress to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in project management, cross-functional leadership, transportation, logistics, freight, supply chain, or distribution networks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, influencing, and change-leadership skills.
• Experience developing business cases and translating analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Experience working with external partners, suppliers, carriers, customers, or logistics providers.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work permanently in the United States; visa sponsorship and applications from existing visa holders are not accepted.

Nice to have

• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience optimizing transportation networks, freight strategies, carrier strategies, or transportation sourcing models.
• Knowledge of freight rate structures, mode optimization, consolidation, carrier performance, Direct Ship, drop-ship, or decentralized fulfillment.
• Experience evaluating total landed cost or cost-to-serve across fulfillment models.
