What you will do

• Research and interpret environmental regulations affecting materials used in industrial products.
• Develop tools and guidance for environmentally compliant product design.
• Partner with engineers to identify and reduce restricted substances.
• Communicate with suppliers to collect material information and compliance data.
• Support material and component specifications that meet current and future regulatory requirements.
• Present findings and recommendations to project teams.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• At least two years of completed coursework and good academic standing.
• Strong research, analytical, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in sustainability, environmental compliance, or product stewardship.
• Moderate presentation skills.
• Ability to work in Lebanon or Hanover, New Hampshire.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of RoHS, REACH, TSCA, or Proposition 65.
• Experience working with technical data or documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
