What you will do

  • Develop clinical and commercial formulations and processes for synthetic drug products in oral and parenteral dosage forms.
  • Design, execute, optimize, and analyze spray-drying formulation and process development experiments.
  • Support scale-up from laboratory to manufacturing scale, including equipment evaluation, technology transfer, troubleshooting, and identification of critical process parameters and quality attributes.
  • Contribute to formulation development, process improvements, lifecycle management, and cross-functional technical strategies.
  • Use digital tools and AI-enabled solutions to improve experimental efficiency, data analysis, automation, and scientific insight generation.
  • Organize and communicate scientific information while collaborating across the Drug Product Technologies Department.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and at least 1 year of scientific experience, or bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of scientific experience.
  • Relevant education in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical or pharmaceutical engineering, chemistry, or a life sciences-related field.
  • Understanding of oral solid dosage manufacturing operations, including granulation, roller compaction, drying, milling, blending, compression, and film coating.
  • Knowledge of synthetic molecule stability, enabling formulations, amorphous solid dispersions, spray drying, hot-melt extrusion, roller compaction, and compression.
  • Ability to design, execute, and interpret experiments and solve formulation and characterization problems for oral and parenteral synthetic molecules.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
