OneBeat Director, Event Technology & Production

Location: Onsite in Ocean Township, New Jersey, United States. Event travel with overnight stays is required, and availability for travel and on-call support is expected from February through July.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead IT, Technical Development, Event Production, and Media teams and coordinate delivery across departments.
• Develop operational systems, workflows, resource plans, redundancy, and risk controls for office and live-event environments.
• Maintain office infrastructure, web services, integrations, user accounts, 2FA, MDM, devices, networks, and IoT equipment.
• Oversee tour technology, scoring systems, tabulator equipment, laptops, tablets, Wi-Fi hotspots, and event networking.
• Define the OneBeat software roadmap, gather requirements, manage feature releases, bug tracking, hotfixes, and development backlogs.
• Provide on-site technical support during predominantly weekend events and manage vendors, printers, production files, and event technology operations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT management, systems administration, or technical support.
• Experience managing 75+ devices and complex office, remote-team, and event-based infrastructures.
• Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, software troubleshooting, Apple and Microsoft environments, cloud services, 2FA, and MDM.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, web services, software releases, bug tracking, hotfix support, budgets, and operational process improvement.
• Leadership, organizational, communication, prioritization, and pressure-based problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work onsite in Ocean Township, NJ, travel to events, and provide seasonal on-call support.

Nice to have

• Experience in dance, sports, entertainment, or event-based industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Vendor management experience with equipment service providers.
