What you will do

• Set the vision, standards, and daily expectations for digital and social performance.
• Manage editorial oversight across digital and social platforms and develop digital strategies.
• Lead daily editorial decision-making and balance breaking news with engaging content.
• Coordinate with anchors, producers, editors, newscast executive producers, and MMJs to meet deadlines and extend story impact.
• Build workflows connecting linear broadcast, digital, and streaming content.
• Drive vertical video, improve digital video planning, identify content gaps, and train the team.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in a digital news environment, including managing people and performance.
• Strong editorial judgment and the ability to lead in a breaking news environment.
• Demonstrated success driving audience growth through content strategy and execution.
• Deep understanding of SEO, analytics, streaming platforms, video, and digital storytelling.
• Ability to influence across teams, communicate clearly, set expectations, and hold teams accountable.
• At least 3 years of experience in both broadcast and digital settings is preferred.
