Senior AI Engineer

Location: Remote in Georgia, with occasional in-office visits as needed for cross-functional collaboration and key initiatives.

What you will do

• Build and operate production AI agents and agentic workflows, including orchestration, tool use, data connections, deterministic logic, state, and permissions.
• Work directly with design customers to map real workflows and build against live data.
• Develop evaluation datasets, pre-launch thresholds, regression suites, and post-launch monitoring.
• Build human-review tooling, exception queues, escalation paths, and auditable tracing for agent decisions.
• Run shadow-mode comparisons with existing customer processes and drive discrepancies to zero before launch.
• Convert customer-specific implementations into reusable agents, integrations, and playbooks while handling incidents end to end.

Requirements

• Production experience building and operating at least one AI agent or agentic workflow.
• Strong engineering judgment across models, orchestration, APIs, data integrations, permissions, observability, and evaluations.
• Experience working directly with customers or end users and communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to separate workflows into deterministic steps, agentic decisions, human judgment, and exception paths, and define how each part is tested.
• Experience protecting customers from incorrect AI output through grounding, constrained actions, verification, evaluation, review, and monitoring.
• Demonstrated production experience is valued more than a specific title or number of years.
