TL;DR
Senior Architect (AI/Cloud): Designing and optimizing a digital chat platform with an accent on AI integrations, distributed systems, scalability, reliability, and cloud-native solutions. Focus on building AI agent architectures, integrating GECX, IVA Voice, Genesys, and Dialogflow, and leading engineers developing TypeScript and Node.js applications on GCP.
Location: Remote from Pennsylvania, United States; US citizenship required due to contractual and access requirements

What you will do
- Lead the architecture, design, development, implementation, support, and optimization of complex technology and business solutions.
- Design and scale the digital chat platform, improving platform stability, reliability, and performance.
- Drive integrations involving Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience, IVA Voice, Genesys, and Google Dialogflow.
- Define architecture for distributed systems, authentication, security, messaging, data management, observability, and cloud-native services such as Cloud Run on GCP.
- Lead strategic projects and future AI agent designs within the JIRA backlog.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance across architecture, development, integration, and problem resolution.
Requirements
- US citizenship is required due to contractual and access requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
- At least five years of experience in an IT or business discipline.
- Experience with distributed systems design, scalability, and reliability in high-volume environments.
- Hands-on experience with GCP, including Cloud Run, and modern development languages such as TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience with digital chat platforms, IVA Voice, AI agent integrations, or GECX, plus security, websockets, observability, data management, and messaging systems.
Nice to have
- Health insurance industry knowledge.
- Experience with authentication and token patterns, CI/CD, and Terraform.
- Google Cloud Architect or other GCP and cloud/AI certifications.
- Experience with enterprise architecture, project management, Java, DB2, PEGA, Cognos, or related legacy and data technologies.
