Project Manager - Core Banking Transformation (AI)

What you will do

• Lead large-scale core banking migration projects from initiation through go-live and stabilization.
• Coordinate business, technology, operations, testing, and migration activities across multiple teams.
• Manage project plans, dependencies, budgets, timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Drive governance, reporting, and decision-making with programme and senior management stakeholders.
• Ensure delivery meets regulatory, security, risk, and audit requirements.
• Support AI-enabled delivery practices and the migration and decommissioning of legacy banking platforms.

Requirements

• 8+ years of project management experience in large, complex IT or transformation programmes.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
• Proven experience leading migration, modernization, or core banking transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, risk, dependency, budget, and senior-level governance skills.
• Experience with core banking platforms, COBOL modernization, lending products, banking operations, data migration, and Agile delivery at scale using SAFe.
• Understanding of modern software delivery and AI-supported tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or Azure AI Services.
