Product Manager, People Systems (Workday)

Location: Houston, New York, San Francisco, or Seattle, United States

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 USD per year, plus potential bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Own the roadmap and ongoing development of Workday, Greenhouse, and adjacent People Systems.
• Partner with People teams to design and improve end-to-end employee lifecycle workflows.
• Configure Workday Core HCM, business processes, security, and reporting.
• Build integrations, automations, and agentic workflows across the People Systems portfolio.
• Establish data governance and access controls for accuracy, security, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Own platform stability, performance, testing, release management, and stakeholder recommendations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in HRIS or People Systems roles.
• Extensive hands-on Workday experience and advanced configuration expertise.
• Experience building integrations and automations across People Systems.
• Strong HR domain knowledge and a product mindset focused on customer needs, business value, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience translating privacy, security, and compliance requirements into system design decisions.
• Practical experience applying AI to People Systems and communicating technical trade-offs to diverse stakeholders.
