Staff Product Manager, Growth (ML Search)

Location: Bellevue, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, or San Francisco, United States. The role follows a default-together policy requiring work in an office 4+ days per week.

Base salary: $195,000–$343,000 annually depending on U.S. pay zone, plus RSU eligibility.

What you will do

• Own the hirify.globalchat Search product and machine learning roadmap across relevance, retrieval, and ranking.
• Grow Search as a destination for discovering people, creators, and content across web and in-app experiences.
• Advance retrieval and ranking systems and establish evaluation frameworks and quality standards.
• Define success metrics, design experiments, interpret results, and guide decisions to scale, iterate, or stop initiatives.
• Partner with machine learning engineering, design, data science, user research, trust and safety, and adjacent product teams.
• Set product strategy and communicate priorities, progress, learnings, and results to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building and shipping products at a technology company, or a master’s degree with 7+ years of experience.
• BS/BA degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep expertise in ML-driven ranking, retrieval, search, or recommendation systems.
• Strong product strategy, experimentation, data analysis, prioritization, and cross-functional influence skills.
• Ability to work in a U.S. office 4+ days per week at one of the listed locations.

Nice to have

• Experience owning an ML-powered product surface and model roadmap.
• Experience with consumer growth, search, discovery, feed ranking, or semantic and embedding-based retrieval at scale.
• Experience with A/B testing platforms, funnel and cohort analysis, and growth measurement frameworks.
• Experience partnering with trust and safety or content policy teams on user-generated content.
