Global IT Software Engineer Manager (AI)

Location: Boston or Atlanta, United States

Base salary: $121,000–$156,500 per year, plus up to 16% annual discretionary performance bonus and retirement contributions.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support secure, scalable full-stack applications for Finance and Procurement initiatives.
• Contribute hands-on throughout the Agile delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through production support.
• Build front-end and back-end functionality using technologies such as React, .NET, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Develop and integrate AI-powered features, including conversational interfaces, summarization, intelligent search, and agent-based systems.
• Monitor applications, troubleshoot production issues, improve stability and performance, and communicate progress with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Change Management, users, suppliers, and business partners across distributed teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of software development experience delivering production-grade applications.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, Node, JavaScript or TypeScript, React, SQL, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience with microservices, API-first architectures, single-page applications, design patterns, cloud platforms, and financial or operations applications.
• Experience with LLM APIs, agent orchestration, tool calling, RAG, context management, and AI-augmented development tools.
• Strong spoken and written English is required, including the ability to present to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Python and cloud AI/ML services such as Azure OpenAI or AWS Bedrock.
• Experience with financial applications.
