Risk Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage the privacy inbox and coordinate data subject rights requests against statutory deadlines.
• Log privacy incidents and near misses, gather facts, and track remediation through to closure.
• Maintain privacy registers and records, including incident, processing activity, and DPIA registers.
• Coordinate outsourced privacy consultants, track deliverables, and ensure advice is recorded and implemented.
• Support audits, client assurance requests, privacy reporting, and reviews of notices, policies, procedures, retention, and training.
• Coordinate governance meetings, agendas, minutes, action logs, reporting packs, documentation, onboarding, and team administration.

Requirements

• Genuine interest in data protection and privacy; training will be provided.
• Degree in law, risk management, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in privacy, risk, compliance, legal, audit, operations, or administration.
• Awareness of UK GDPR concepts or the ability to learn them quickly.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, analytical, communication, judgement, and discretion skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and workstreams, maintain sensitive records, and meet deadlines independently.

Nice to have

• Progress toward a privacy or compliance qualification such as IAPP CIPP/E or the Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection.
• Financial services, pensions, or fintech experience.
