Senior Commercial Product Manager (Gene Editing)

Location: Remote from the United States; the role is fully remote and can be performed from the employee's home. Travel of up to 30%, including international travel, is required.

Annual salary: $140,000–$170,000, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead commercialization and lifecycle management for gene editing therapeutic products and custom manufacturing services.
• Partner with Marketing, Finance, Legal, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality, and other functions to launch products and develop messaging, value propositions, marketing plans, collateral, and training tools.
• Develop pricing and commercial plans to achieve order, revenue, and margin growth across the gene editing workflow.
• Manage mid-to-late-stage product and service lifecycles from growth and optimization through end-of-life strategy.
• Enable commercial teams through sales training, funnel and opportunity support, key account engagement, and client discussions.
• Analyze markets, regulatory trends, and competitors to build forecasts and identify product improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; an MBA or advanced scientific degree is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in a client-facing product management or sales role, including at least 5 years in product management within life sciences or healthcare.
• Experience managing products in a regulated biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environment.
• Experience translating therapeutic components or supporting CDMO services.
• Demonstrated success launching and sustaining products.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including internationally.

• Strong understanding of cell and gene therapy, gene editing, and the life sciences industry.
• Experience influencing senior and functional leaders without direct supervisory authority.
• Experience working cross-functionally with globally distributed teams.
