Global Product Manager (Flow Cytometry Routine IVD Assays)

Location: Remote, based in York, United Kingdom; up to 25% international travel.

What you will do

• Define and execute a 3–5-year portfolio strategy and product roadmap for routine clinical flow cytometry IVD assays.
• Lead the full product lifecycle, from opportunity identification, market assessment, and business cases through product development support, launch planning, and lifecycle management.
• Translate customer, market, and application insights into product requirements, value propositions, and go-to-market plans.
• Represent the customer throughout development and ensure products address critical needs in attractive market segments.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, solution product managers, Product Marketing, Commercial Marketing, R&D teams, key opinion leaders, and end users.
• Generate market intelligence through competitive analysis, customer engagement, and evaluation of external partnership opportunities.

Requirements

• PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related life sciences discipline preferred; a Master’s degree with substantial relevant industry experience may also be considered.
• At least 3 years of experience in product management, portfolio strategy, marketing, or business development within IVD, life sciences, or medical devices.
• Strong understanding of clinical flow cytometry workflows and applications.
• Ability to engage in technical discussions with R&D teams, key opinion leaders, and end users.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across geographies and influence teams without direct authority in a matrixed organization.
• Strategic, agile, and results-oriented approach with the ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and multiple projects.

Nice to have

• Experience with open innovation collaborations, OEM relationships, licensing agreements, or distribution partnerships.
• MBA degree.
