Supplier Engineer (Medical Devices)

Location: Onsite in Acton, Massachusetts, United States; domestic and international travel up to 20% (typically 10%).

Annual base salary: $70,400–$105,575 for U.S.-based positions; incentive compensation may also apply.

hirify.global is a medical device company developing the Omnipod platform for insulin delivery and other subcutaneous drug-delivery applications.

What you will do

• Support new product introductions, design changes, supplier transfers, and capacity expansion projects.
• Coordinate modifications to supplier capital equipment and implement manufacturing improvements.
• Lead moderately complex projects and provide technical recommendations to stakeholders.
• Apply Six Sigma and statistical tools to solve problems and prevent recurrence.
• Participate in product design reviews with emphasis on design for manufacture.
• Investigate corrective actions and resolve quality and assembly issues across the supply base.

Requirements

• BS in mechanical, manufacturing/industrial, or plastics engineering with 3+ years of experience, or an MS with 1+ years of experience.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, data analysis, and systematic root-cause analysis skills.
• Working knowledge of Excel, JMP or Minitab, MS Office, SolidWorks, and GD&T.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, metal stamping, CNC/Swiss turning, or cold forming.
• Ability to work onsite and spend extended periods in a Class 8 cleanroom environment.
